CHILDREN’S WORSHIP

There are so many ways we can minister to your kids during the worship hour at 11am on Sundays!

Nursery (birth-1)

A nursery is provided for babies thru 1 year old. Upon dropping off your child, you will be given a pager to accompany you to the worship service in case the nursery workers need to contact you.

Extended Session (ages 2-3)

This ministry is an extension of the Sunday School hour for two and three year old children and occurs during the eleven o’clock worship hour. Incorporating a Bible story and related activities, the Extended Session furthers the Biblical teaching the children receive in Sunday School while parents can participate in the worship service.

Shining Lights (4 year olds – Kindergarten)

Shining Lights is geared for 4-5 year olds and is held during the latter half of the eleven o’clock worship hour. The kids are dismissed during the main worship service to join in the fun in the Shining Lights room located in the downstairs Sunday School level. This ministry allows children to participate in the first half of the worship hour and then exit to a different location to continue to learn about God’s Word in a less formal setting and enjoy activities relating to the Bible story.

King Jesus Kids (grades 1-5)

King Jesus Kids is geared for children in grades 1-5 and is held during the latter half of the eleven o’clock worship hour. The kids are dismissed during the main worship service to join in the fun in the Minnie Stinnett Chapel. You will have fun studying God’s Word, memorizing scripture, praying and singing. It’s always a treat being with King Jesus Kids!

WEDNESDAY NIGHTS

Our kids also have an important place in our Wednesday night groups from 7-8pm.

NURSERY // Birth-1 YEAR OLD

Nursery is available for all children from birth through 1 year old and is located on the bottom floor of the main sanctuary.

MISSION FRIENDS // PRESCHOOL 2-3 and 4-5 years old

Mission Friends is the church missions organization of WMU for preschoolers (co-ed children 2-3 and 4-5 yrs.). The primary objective of Mission Friends is to provide a strong foundation for preschoolers in a Christian and missions lifestyle. Mission Friends provides developmentally appropriate missions learning experiences to help preschoolers move from a self-centered focus on others, to become aware that not everyone knows about God’s love, and to understand ways they can help others know about this good news!

Girls in action // Girls Grade 1-6

Girls in Action is a missions organization for girls grade 1-6. Girls in our GA® group:

Learn what missionaries do.
Pray for missionaries and their work.
Discover how they can help other people.
Save and give money to help tell other people about Jesus.
Learn about people around the world.
Have fun with friends!

Royal Ambassadors // Boys Grade 1-6

Royal Ambassadors is the mission education organization for boys in grades 1-6. R.A.’s reaches boys for Christ and leads them to become ambassadors for Christ by developing biblical character.
