The key word for the function of the church is “Ministry”. Certainly we take care of the people within our church. But the great church will always be reaching out to the lost world. We are concerned for others. It is the focal word in our study today.

Many people see the church as a social gathering or a weekly meeting. The Bible is very plain that we are an army with a very serious purpose: We are to confidently and courageously claim the world for Christ. It is not a task for the timid!
