Sin is sin. Sometimes we don’t like to call it that. We want to cover it up or give it another name. Israel was doing the exact same thing. God calls them to repent, be cleaned and become white as snow.
There are two blessings offered to every person through Jesus Christ. The first is a GIFT of salvation, freely given when we put our faith in Jesus. The second blessing is His REWARD. It is very different from the GIFT. How do we receive the REWARD from our Savior?
All of us, as Americans live by the laws of our country. But as Christians, we live by a much higher law. In this sermon, we learn that the church is a colony, an outpost, of heaven on earth. We eagerly await the coming of the King.
As we consider the life we live in Jesus, Paul leads us to think about standing versus running. We STAND STILL to receive the gift of salvation, and we RUN WITH PASSION to receive the prize of glory. It is a great description of our life in Christ.
As we study the book of Philippians, Paul is adamant that the church be on guard against false, unbiblical teaching. We live by the Word of God. And as we live our lives in Him, we will leave behind a legacy of faithfulness. What kind of footprint will YOU leave on earth?
The Lord Jesus left us the perfect model for living our life.As a believer, you now represent His Word, His love, His hands and feet in ministry. Listen to this sermon, and be encouraged to be “Jesus With Skin” to someone today!
This sermon makes an extremely important point, as the Bible directs us to live in surrender to the Savior. ALL of us live between Philippians 1:21 and Philippians 2:21. Do you give little or much to Jesus?
If we truly live with the mind of Christ to guide us, we will be looking for ministry opportunities throughout the day. The main question for the believer is this: are you a good FRAME? That should be the goal of the believer’s life.
