As we begin this journey through the Gospel of John,we open his account of the life of Jesus with the Prologue. This is the first 18 verses of the book, and has been called The Gospel in Miniature. This sermon concentrates on the Truth of Jesus as the Word of God.
In this final sermon of the Colossians series, we will study eight men who were friends of Paul as he finalizes his letter. While most are faithful brothers, one man brings him sorrow.
As we draw near to the end of our study of Colossians, Paul mentions ten men who are with him in Rome. Today’s sermon studies two of them: Tychicus and Onesimus.
Why does God give us the ability to speak? Certainly we use words all day long as we communicate with other people. But this sermon shows us the highest use of our speech and presence in this world.
