Families with small to elementary-age children: We have exciting news! After much prayer, we are happy to announce that starting October 25th and through the whole month of November, we will be offering a service that is more kid-focused for the whole family to enjoy: CliffordKIDS Worship! Even though we are not quite ready to open up most of our children’s ministries due to COVID-19, we still see the importance of gathering together for worship even for our youngest of members. CliffordKIDS Worship! will be a service that tailors more to the kids by offering worship and a Bible lesson that is more on their level, but it is still going to be a fun time for the entire family! There will be worship music, games (that meet the safety guidelines), a lesson for kids, and a devotional for the adults. Service will start at 4 p.m. in the Social Hall each Sunday, and we hope to see you there! COVID-19: The church has made it a priority to follow the safety guidelines placed by the CDC and the Virginia Health Department to keep Clifford Baptist Church a safe and healthy environment as much as possible. Things That We Will Be Doing: • Before a volunteer will be allowed to help, they must first attend a safety meeting to learn about our safety measures for COVID-19. • Our volunteers will be required to wear masks and to practice social distancing. • All volunteers will do a COVID screening before working in the service each week. No volunteer will be able to help in the service if they fail the screening or have a temperature of 100.4 or higher. • This service will be a low-touch experience, and all the areas that are high-touch areas from the previous service will be thoroughly sanitized before this service as well as afterwards. • There will be hand sanitizer stations available. • We are providing colored wristbands to help indicate families’ comfort level in regards to personal contact. (Red= high-risk; yellow = okay with talking/interaction) These will be in the front for you to choose, and we kindly ask that you give them back so that we can recycle them for next week’s service. (We will properly sanitize them after each use.) • Chairs in the Social Hall will be placed in a way that will allow the family to sit together while still following the guidelines placed by CDC and VDH. During this season, we are asking families to help us in keeping the church facilities a safe and healthy environment. How can you help? • Please continue to check Clifford Baptist Church Facebook page for up-to-date information. If you are on the email list, you will receive an email of any changes as well. • We would kindly ask that you and your family members wash your hands or use hand sanitizer before coming into the worship area. • Masks will be required of all volunteers. Adults and older children, who are able, are encouraged to wear masks while inside the church building. • We are encouraging families to maintain a 6 ft. distance from other guests. • If you or your child have any feelings of illness, cough, runny nose, fever, or any other signs of illness to please refrain from attending CliffordKIDS Worship! service until you or your child feel well. We encourage you to watch our regular worship service online for that day. • If you or a household family member has tested positive or has had known exposure to COVID-19 in the last 10 days, we ask that you stay home and watch the regular worship service online and join us after your 10 days of quarantine is up.
